As a treat for finishing our topic of Chocolate, the children got to try a sample of six different types of chocolate on Monday afternoon. We thought they were all delicious, but decided it would be interesting to find out which chocolate was the most popular in our class. Therefore, we decided to vote for our favourite chocolate bar from our tasting session and record the votes using a tally chart.
After seeing the results of the vote, we decided that it would be great to use our new data handling knowledge and skills we have been learning in Numeracy lessons this week. We used the data we collected from our vote on Monday and presented our findings as a bar chart. Have a look at our bar charts to see how we got on.
