Home Learning
6th Jan 2021
Following the meeting of the NI Executive yesterday, the Minister has issued guidance which contains the following statements:
All mainstream education providers, including pre-school education settings, primary and post primary schools are required to provide remote learning at home to their pupils rather than face to face teaching in school, until the half term break in the middle of February.
Vulnerable children and children of key workers to have access to schools for supervised learning.
This confirms that pupils will not be returning to school on Monday 11th January as the Executive had originally indicated.
I know Home Learning presents many difficulties and challenges. We want to help you as much as possible and so teachers are available from 9am until 2.30pm Monday - Friday to offer help and support. Staff are also available in the school office to answer any questions you may have. Please remember - work does not have to be perfect. Just encourage your child to do their best and we will do all we can to support you and your child through the weeks ahead.
