P3 have designed and created their own telescopes, inspired by Timothy Pope’s telescope from the story Shark in the Park, which we have been using to learn all about rhyming words!
We spent time on our school grounds, looking all around for interesting things with our telescopes. We used very clever describing words to explain what we could see, such as: “tall, yellow sunflowers”, “freshly cut grass”, “a brightly coloured hopscotch”, and “a big black lorry”.
