WW2 Topic
This week we started our new topic for this half term ‘World War 2’. Two of our tasks this week for online learning included drawing our own Spitfire planes and listening to a very well-known WW2 song and comparing it with our favourite songs. We listened to the song ‘I’ll be seeing you’ by Billie Holiday and reflected on how it made us feel and what pictures we imagined while we were listening to it. We then compared it to our own favourite songs. Check out our cool comparisons and reflections.
We also completed an art activity by following a drawing tutorial to draw our own Spitfire planes and army tanks. We also learnt that Spitfires were the most widely produced and strategically important British single-seat fighters of WW2. Check out our impressive designs 🤩
Stay tuned to see what other fun activities we are getting up to as we continue our WW2 topic. 😀
