Parent-Teacher Association

This year saw the start of our new look PTA. We have held our AGM, elected office bearers and a committee and started supporting the school by  raising funds. We organised a raffle for Christmas hampers and made a total of £341. Thank you to all who supported us in this first event either by supplying items or buying tickets.

Our Valentines Disco was a great success and very well supported. We raised £203.78  for PTA funds which will help support the school and future PTA event plans. All monies raised will be used to support our children within the school. Thank you to all parents and staff who helped supervise the event.

“Boogie for Books ”  was a hit on 28th March  with Miss Gault and her endless energy and creativity helping pupils, parents and staff keep moving and boogieing  during the dance fitness session to raise money to refresh and update our class sets of novels. The Hydration Station supplied and manned by our local Tesco Community Champion was a very welcome treat after such hard work. Thanks to Maria once again for supporting our school. Well done everyone!  We have raised a massive £2551 to date.  PTA and school staff would like to thank our parents and wider community for their wonderful support again.

Next up is our school fair. Planning is already under way to help make this a great event. Plan to keep the date free – Friday 17th June 4pm-6pm.

We meet on the first Monday of each month at 6.30pm in the school staff room. Please feel free to come along. Everyone welcome!

Next meeting – 7th November
