Yesterday our Eco Council completed their first bin audit for our Big Wheelie Challenge. We weighed and sorted the waste in 5 of our school bins to monitor if landfill bins are being used correctly. We found many items that could and should be being recycled. Today we shared our findings with the rest of the school in assembly. Over the next few months we will work hard to improve recycling in our classrooms and make better use of our food caddies and mixed recycling boxes.
