Density!
5th Apr 2022
Last Friday Mr. Anthony’s Primary 7 class conducted another science experiment! As we were learning about capacity in our Numeracy lessons, we decided to put our measuring skills to the test.
The children had to follow a method and measure out accurate amounts of water for this experiment to work. We then used food colouring and sugar to see how adding sugar to water changed it’s density!
It was so interesting to see how the different colours of water separated into layers depending on how dense they were. The children had great fun using their Numeracy skills practically in a science experiment.
