Last week we were busy learning about Florence Nightingale. We looked at pictures from the past, wrote down our observations and came up with a list of questions for the class to help answer.
Our class also came up with some interesting ways to start writing a narrative. We called these "sizzling starts" and we were able to make a boring introduction to a story sound really exciting.
