We have been reading the book called Handa’s Surprise. In this story Handa put a selection of fruit into a basket to take to her friend Akeyo. We had the opportunity to examine the weight and texture of each type of fruit in the story and then to taste it. This included banana, mango, avocado pear, orange, pineapple, passion fruit and tangerines. The most popular choice to eat was the pineapple and the least popular choices were the passion fruit and the avocado pear. Have a look at the photos to see how everyone got on!
