Our topic for this term is Houses and Homes. We have been learning about the different types of houses we have in our country including detached and semi- detached houses.
We wanted to find out how houses are built so we invited Richard Kernaghan in as he worked as a building contractor. We got to ask him some questions about his job and he showed us some plans of a house that an architect would use.
He also showed us some of the clothes he had to wear to stay safe when on a building site.
It was so interesting and we learned a lot!
