We have been exploring the topic of Winter this term. In Winter it is very cold and sometimes we have ice and frost and even snow. We decided to do our own experiment to try and make ice. We poured some water into 4 different trays and put them in our classroom, the fridge, the freezer and one outside. We made our predictions and then checked them the next day. The only one to have ice was the one in the freezer. We learned that it needs to be very cold, 0’C for water to freeze. We enjoyed passing the ice around and feeling how cold, wet and slippery it was!
