A charity called ‘Knit-for-Knowt’ based in England, kindly donated hand made puppets to our nurture room. Thought, time and effort has been given to each individual puppet and for that we are very grateful.
We have received ‘puppet families’, ‘people who help us’ and puppets representing our various emotions. The ‘finger puppets’ are also a real asset to our collection which we are looking forward to using with our story telling sessions.
Puppets open the door to self- expression, helping children find their voice, whilst teaching listening and concentration skills and stimulating their imagination.
We are excited to display and use our puppets in ‘The Submarine’ and include them in lots of our activities and adventures.
