Having had great success with the daffodil and tulip bulbs we had planted back in the Autumn we decided to try growing some fruit and vegetables. We read some information books and read and watched some stories about planting and taking care of seeds before we had a go ourselves. We found out that plants need soil, water, air and sunlight to grow. We decided to begin with planting seeds to grow some pea plants. Each day we check our pots to see if they need anymore water and are watching carefully to see the first shoots start to grow. We will have to be very patient as we wait for our plants to produce pea pods we can pick and eat.
