We read the story Shark in the Park by Nick Sharratt. In this story the main character Timothy Pope used his telescope to look closely at things in the park. We made our own telescopes and took them to one of our local parks. We looked through our telescopes and described what we could see, trying to make our sentences as detailed and interesting as possible. We then got to have some well deserved fun playing in the park!
