We enjoyed building our own volcanoes. We used plastic bottles, mod roc and paint to create individual volcanoes. We discussed how a real volcano erupts because of the build up of pressure inside the magma chamber and once it’s released through the vent it turns to lava. We were able to recreate an eruption using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. It was so much fun!
